We’ve built our business with you in mind, so there’s always a delivery option to suit. Whatever the season, whatever your tastes, whatever your order – pop the kettle on and stick your feet up. We’ll be with you in no time.
We’ve made our delivery policy as clear as possible, so here’s how we’ll get your order to you.
Free one-person delivery
Your dream bedside table is on its way to you – those lazy coffee mornings in bed are within reach. Any small order (usually under 30kg) is normally eligible for free one-person delivery. We endeavour to deliver 1-Man items in 6-8 working days, so you can start planning those slow Sundays.
We endeavour to deliver 1-Man items in 6-8 working days. We of course dispatch as quickly as we can and after the point of dispatch, the delivery company will contact you directly to advise when the item is likely to be delivered. In most instances we use DX for these deliveries. They will allow you the flexibility to customise your delivery date once the item/s are in their possession.
If you order multiple items eligible for 1-Man delivery the entire order may transfer to our FREE 2-Man service at our discretion, which carries a 7-12 working day lead-time. This is only usually the case if a large number of 1-Man items are ordered.
Please note that If DX deliver to your designated ‘safe place’, neither DX nor Chiltern Oak can take responsibility for any theft or any damage once the item has been delivered.
Free two-person delivery
For larger orders we’ll send two people to deliver. They’ll take your order to your hallway or main entrance as standard.
Our expert delivery teams know exactly what they’re doing and specialise in furniture deliveries. To guarantee everything goes smoothly, make sure halls and walkways are clear, and wooden floors, carpets and surfaces are properly protected to avoid any accidental damage.
In most cases delivery will take place within 7-12 working days of an order being placed. Information relating to the exact date and time-slot for delivery will be provided to you by the delivery company directly once they are in possession of your item/s. You will be able to work with the delivery company to find a date that suits you.
International orders and exclusions
Our delivery services are Mainland UK-only services. If you live on a british island, we would be happy to deliver to a port or forwarder, although safe onward shipping would be your responsibility and at your cost. Should a return be required, the items would be required to be shipped back to the mainland for collection/replacement.
If you’re looking for your items to be delivered to an overseas location, please give us as much information as you can so that we can do our utmost to make the process as seamless as possible.
